The City of Grand Prairie Parks, Arts & Recreation Department is hosting the 10th Annual Main Street Fest. The 3-day event is scheduled for Friday through Sunday, April 21 – 23, 2023 on the 200 block of W. Main St. and surrounding areas. The festival,  with FREE parking and admission, will celebrate the fun, festive, family atmosphere that is Grand Prairie with live music featuring variety of bands. Throughout  the event enjoy a novelty entertainment, carnival rides, arts & crafts vendors, 2 entertainment stages, food & beer, a KIDZONE, and plenty of FUN for all! The festival,  with FREE parking and admission, will celebrate the fun, festive, family atmosphere that is Grand Prairie with live music featuring variety of bands. Throughout  the event enjoy carnival rides, arts & crafts vendors, 2 entertainment stages, food & beer, a KIDZONE, and plenty of FUN for all! 

Held in the City of Grand Prairie, Main Street Fest is located in downtown Grand Prairie, at 200 W. Main Street and surrounding locations. (City Hall Campus)

Friday, April 26, 2024 – 5:00 p.m. – midnight

Saturday, April 27, 2024 – 10:00 a.m. – midnight

Sunday, April 28, 2024 – 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Main Street Fest is a FREE community event, provided to the citizens and visitors of the City of Grand Prairie. However, there are designated entrances and purchases will be required at particular locations. The Carnival, Food & Beverage Areas, Arts & Crafts and Beer Locations will require a fee or purchase or sale.

PLEASE NOTE: Carnival ride tickets are available for purchase on site. There are ATMs on site throughout the event grounds.

Yes, however some activities may be postponed or rescheduled to a later time during the day if weather permits.

Parking is located throughout downtown Grand Prairie. You may also park at any city facility. We ask that you please respect the residential areas and avoid parking in neighborhoods.

Remote parking is also available adjacent to Grand Prairie High School at 329 High School Dr., Grand Prairie, TX.

Yes. ATM’s are on site and will be available to event patrons. Usage fees are set in place by vendor and they are a “Use At Your Own Risk” amenity. The City of Grand Prairie is not responsible for refunds or faulty transactions.

Absolutely! The KIDZONE is geared to youth of all ages! This sprawling area is lined with music, art and interactive games designed to entertain, enlighten, and empower kids with hands on activities. This area is a must see and do attraction while at Main Street Fest!

The Lost Child area is located at the Staff & Volunteer Tent. Please refer to the festival map. This location is a good place for your family to plan to meet up if anyone becomes separated.

Yes. Please keep in mind this event is spread across several parking lots and city streets.

No, outside coolers are not allowed within the festival area. Event staff will be stationed at entrance gates and city officials (GPPD) will be patrolling the event area and will ask you to remove your cooler or dispose of items inside. 

Yes. Please be respectful of others by keeping your pets on a leash and cleaning up after them, when needed.

Yes, chairs/blankets are allowed on festival grounds but they are not allowed near the Main Stage, this area is standing room only. Signs will be posted designating this area. If you do bring chairs, they must be low to the ground and have backs at shoulder height. Be respectful of people around you and please share your space, get to know your neighbors, and make room for others. Seating is available on a first-come, first serve basis in some areas of the festival.
